OverView Parker & Associates, Inc. has been serving the land development industry on the Eastern Shore for thirty years. The family-owned company was founded in 1977 by Philip R. Parker, Sr., a Maryland Professional Land Surveyor, and his wife, Bonnie. Originally known as Philip R. Parker and Associates, the company occupied several office locations on the Salisbury downtown plaza before opening their Broad Street office in 1986. Philip R. Parker and Associates specialized in residential surveys and site development. Their strong reputation for customer service lead to continued growth, and in 1997 the company moved to Wilson Street to accommodate the development of the business and the demands of the eastern shore area development. The company name changed to Parker & Associates, Inc. in 1999 when son, Brock, joined the company. Brock is a graduate of Clemson University and is not only a Maryland and Delaware licensed Civil Engineer, but also a Professional Land Surveyor. The company has consistently provided personal service to their loyal client base remaining close to each project from inception to construction. With more than ten AutoCadd draftsmen, an engineering department, three professional land surveyors, and an administrative staff, Parker & Associates, Inc. estimates that by the year 2010, more than 10,000 projects will have been completed by their competent staff.
