Parker and Associates has the technical expertise and competence to fully engineer any site to provide a flawlessly functional project. Our experienced design teams will take any site and overcome nearly any obstacle to provide an economically functional site that complies with the most current regulations. Our vast experience working with the approving municipalities has given us a legitimate edge.With the validity of our projects being performed locally, the municipalities, standards, and preferences are nearly second nature to our design teams.

Furthermore, we are aware of each reviewer’s personal inclinations and peculiarities and we are made immediately aware of any changes in policy and regulations as they happen so that each of our submittals are expertly and efficiently prepared in a manner that minimizes review time and number of iterations.

Land Surveying

Parker and Associates provides a full range of land surveying services. We have the ability to proficiently complete ALTA and boundary surveys, location and proposed location drawings, flood certifications, construction stakeout and every other land surveying related products.

Parker and Associates also has vast experience in preparing projects located within the Chesapeake Bay Critical Areas and the numerous regulations associated therewith. Currently, we have three full time field crews, providing an unmatched level service in terms of timing and quality.

Forest Conservation

Parker and Associates has been the foremost qualified forest conservation professionals since the inception of Maryland’s Forest Conservation Act. Our forestry professionals are included in the conceptual stages of the planning process to ensure that the vast requirements of the forest conservation law will be met for each respective project.

We meet these objectives by not only conserving existing forested lands that integrate within each project, but also by utilizing the site’s landscaping to satisfy the forestry requirements. This ensures that that the objectives of the law are met as efficiently and economically as possible.

Parker and Associates also has created several “forestry banks” for clients. These banks are established to offset the forestry requirements for sites by conserving forested lands elsewhere if they can not be met on site. The establishment of a forestry bank is but another service that Parker and Associates provides.

Site Planning

Parker and Associates specializes in a full array of land planning services. From the smallest lot to the largest tract of land, we pride ourselves on the ability to provide the most aesthetically pleasing and economical product possible.

With our unparallel personal service, the client is involved in every aspect of the land planning process, both in body and in spirit. The client’s input is always valued and is always involved in each iteration of the planning process.

Of course, in the planning process, the overall engineering of the site, and as a result the client’s financial interest, is made a priority so that the project takes not only the shape that the client is happy with, but also that the project is designed to take advantage of the most advantageous features of the site.

On the Eastern Shore, that is unfortunately the most commonly and detrimentally overlooked aspect of land planning. That is certainly not the case at Parker and Associates.
